Our Little Einsteins

In the words of Albert Einstein…

Logic will get you from A to B.  Imagination will take you everywhere.”

The Toddler class recently wrapped up a fabulous week of science exploration.  Our little Einsteins were hard at work experimenting with exciting new materials every day.

One day, they experimented with water and oil and learned that they could not mix!  They loved taking turns swishing around the bottle like a mini ocean during a storm.

Another day, they coated a block of ice in food coloring and then sprinkled it with salt.  As the ice began to melt, the food coloring filled the small channels created in the surface.  They were amazed to see that the ice was melting where they had sprinkled the salt!

Next time it is a rainy day, these experiments would be a simple and fun way to explore science concepts (and your little one’s imagination!) at home.

Bye for now,

Brittany
